I woke up the next morning with my chest a little tight and I just laid there watching the clock. Of course, at the last minute I got up and headed out! I had my inhaler in hand and kept rolling! ..

It was sooo cool. I ran into a few of my new San Diego buddies and made it just in time to start the race. The announcer was GREAT! He remembered DiRTY ReD (www.dirtyredgear.com) from other events and he made some awesome shout outs for me and DiRTY ReD! Of course, I was wearing all my gear! ..

When I started I felt VERY LIGHT and almost stopped b/c I didn't feel right. I hadn't trained all week! But when I heard the first “shout out” for DiRTY ReD I was PUMPED!
