In 1980, the YWCA pioneered an excellent program to augment the efforts of companies in recognizing their female employees for outstanding achievements and effort that introduced the YWCA’s Tribute to Women & Industry aka TWIN to the San Diego community!
Nicol Akins has been chosen as one of the 2008 TWIN honorees here in San Diego for her achievement in building a company from the ground up and making significant strides here in San Diego to motivate women to get out there and look good!
